The Tarion Awards
of Excellence are the premier customer service awards for home builders
in Ontario. Builders of all size and type are eligible for the awards,
however participation is by invitation only based on each builder's
customer service record with Tarion over the last five years. In 2006,
only six per cent of the 5,600 registered builders in Ontario met
Tarion's stringent criteria and qualified for the award program.
Seventy per cent of each builder's score is based on random customer
surveys. Almost 2000 homeowners were surveyed for the 2006 awards.
In addition, builders must provide their customer service philosophy
and policies and each builder's approach to customer service is
evaluated for the remaining 30 per cent of the total score.

who are leaders in making the new home buying experience the very best
